Pneumatic Power October 30
My current classroom project is to tidy up all of the pneumatic hoses. Right now they fall to the ground and they get in the way of traffic. I have a retractable hose that I intend to use to help me organize this problem.

LCD Screen Mounting October 29
My goal for the week is to find a way to mount an LCD screen in front of my classroom. The big problem is that I have to find a way to get around the cinder blocks that go all the way up to the bottom of the roof. There has to be a break somewhere that will let me go over the blocks.
The purpose of this LCD screen is to display information about what is going on in my classroom. It would display things like project pictures, records, pictures, and just general information that I would like to share with the school! ![]()
Always Next Season October 29
Well it was a tough loss and we were undermanned. We played a tough veteran team that found weaknesses in our D and exploited them. Everyone on our team hung our heads low after the game, but we have 4 months to get ready for then next season…![]()
Fall Back Tonight = 1 Plus Hour of Sleep! October 28
The good thing about gaining an hour of sleep tonight, is that my football team gets to sleep an extra hour for our big, 8 am game tomorrow. We have a tough team ahead of us, but we will be the strongest we have ever been!![]()
Reunion October 28
Last night I went to a friend’s wedding and ran into friends that I grew up with. I haven’t seen my friends for a while and it was great to see them again after 2 years. We traded information so that we can keep in touch. My friends live in North Jersey and Manhattan. They offered to host my wife and I so we will definitely take them up on that offer! ![]()

Instead of School, I Went to an Inservice October 25
Today we had an inservice for all middle school tech ed teachers. It was great to see other teachers and what they were doing in their classrooms. It was also fun to share what I did in my classroom and give my peers some materials they can take and teach to their students.
Chess Club October 24
Chess Club was a success again! It seems like more and more students are hearing about chess club and want to challenge others. Today we had about 30 students show up again. It’s great that so many students are so into chess.
2 of 8 Teams… October 23
My football team is part of the Howard County Run and Shoot league. We are broken up into 2 divisions, a North and South. This past Sunday we played our games (North vs South). We played against a very good team. As always our game came down to the wire, but in the end we won. We were only one of two teams that actually won from the South division. We have a very tough road ahead of us, and we hope to do well in the playoffs!
Another Field Goal, Another Loss… October 22
That was a very painful game to watch… The Eagles lost to the Buccaneers with no time on the clock and a miracle field goal from 62 yards out, booted by a place kicker that has never made a kick over 50 yards. The Eagles have now lost 3 games due to field goals…
